TARP SURFING

Cyrus and friends over at korduroy.tv have found another great way to spend your time out of the water.  Now everyone can get shacked even if you live hundreds of miles away from the ocean.

REMOTE HELI-CAM

I’ve always wondered if this was possible, and now I know.  Shot from a remote controlled helicopter.

RIP CURL PLANET

Just got an email blast from Rip Curl announcing their new site ripcurlplanet.com.  It’s Rip Curl’s initiative to be “greener” and do good for our planet.  The site is a full meal deal of ways to get surfers more involved and taking action which is such a larger step than just making eco board short.  Check it out here.

JULIAN WILSON WINS IN SRI LANKA

Congrats to Julian Wilson on his dominant performance and victory at the Inaugural Sri Lankan Airlines Pro.  Julian was said to have been the frontrunner at this event, in epic six foot surf, since the first horn.  Runner up to Julian was Santa Cruz phenom  Nat Young who gave a stellar performance with a strong backside attack.  For more info, go here!

Loser Machine

If you haven’t heard of the Loser Machine, well then you need to get away from the video games and experience some life!  Anyway, they know how to travel right.  And right is with a Mizu bottle sitting shotgun and repping a Mizu sticker on their van (actually a bolts action van but thats an unnecessary technicality).  Either way, thanks for the love!!!

MARVIN FOSTER PASSES

Sad news this morning coming from Hawaii.  Surf legend Marvin Foster passed away on May 18th at the age of 48.  There isn’t enough concrete news about how he passed yet so we will not commit to speculation.  RIP “Carvin Marvin”!

CRYPTIC GOODNESS

Our good friend Chris Cooper, who runs our East Coast (NY, NJ, etc) sales as well as being our brain child for all things east coast and, well, just all things awesome, sends us emails that are so straightforward that they are no longer straightforward.  This post is already not making sense since Coop is involved in it.  Anyway, here was the latest:

"Elf, Brian Hamill, Spraying Gravy team rider dirty and gnarly needed some chicken soup at work so he cooks it weekly in his Mizu..  Blog that holmes. Elf like switch backflips."

Coops

There were photos attached that makes everything a bit more clear.  But the cliff notes are:

Brian Hamill, aka ELF, cooks his chicken soup in his Mizu bottle (not recommended by us for legal reasons, not for reasons that it isn’t good for you), and likes switch backflips.  He’s dirty and gnarly too ladies!

I’m lost by my own words.  All you need to know is that what you just read is the most bitchen thing you’ve read all week.
